my new Toshiba portege has an Authentec 1600 scanner. This isn't listed on your supported devices nor unsupported devices, so I thought I'd let you know about it.
It's not perfect though. fprint (via login_fingerprint from OpenBSD ports) will tell me it successfully enrolls my fingerprints but when I try to actually use it it either says "invalid swipe" or "incorrect login". I don't know if this is a driver issue or if I've just set it up wrong.
