Good question! I'm in a similar situation and before start I want to know
the performance of libfprint in something similar to an atom processor, I
have discarted an embedded linux on a mips with 32mb and 200MHZ because I
think it will be very slow.
In the past I have read some estimations that 200 images would take in
average 1 second, taking into acount a good ordenation for the algorithm
(wich I don't understand ;) )

Best Regards
Andrés
