How do either of these help the OP? The original question was about doing the fp match even before the OS is booted into - for bios paswords etc. I don't think it's possible without a custom BIOS. Maybe, custom coreboot/linuxbios image with fp support help? Do mainstream motherboards support coreboot/linuxbios?
