Hello, I'm an Ubuntu user which has fprint working fine on an "AuthenTec, Inc. AES1600".
However, "fine" means that after editing pam configuration it works for - login (gdm) - privileges escalation (policykit) _but_ I found no hints on how to configure pam configuration to use it when waking up from standby/hibernation/locked screen. Is the thing at all possible? Or some software component is simply missing? Thanks for any info (just for the records: since on "mainstream" Linux laptops the password is needed anyway to unblock gnome-keyring, I think the standby support is/would be what really gives a very interesting role to fprint) Pietro Battiston _______________________________________________ fprint mailing list [email protected] http://lists.reactivated.net/mailman/listinfo/fprint
