I tried it with libbsapi.so and the fingerprint-gui PAM module. It works. :)

*) I like the way it works on console-login most: Short text-based request for
fingerprint, fast login after
authentication.

*) With su in an x-terminal-emulator, I get the graphical popup, with is not
that nice from my point of
view, and it is annoying that after telling "OK", the popup waits for at least
one second to let me continue
my work. Would be nice, if it could immedialy go further as in console-login.

*) sudo crashes immediately when I try to use the fingerprint-gui PAM-module
with it (Segmentation fault). I
use Debian Squeeze.

*) With gnome-screensaver, everything is working, except that I also have to
wait until the popup
disappears, even when the authentication already succeeded.

*) I did not yet manage to get it with gdm running, but I will, as you tried
hard to get it well documented.
I will not give up!

:)

So far, thank you, and any hints or comments are welcome!

Greetings,

Mazze
