You want to be able to choose which finger to use in a verification. Thumbs
have more info but are harder to capture. Most people use the index finger. So
randomly choosing in the library does not seem like a good idea.

Subject: [fprint] Patch: use a random print to authenticate against

Hey,

here is a patch which changes the behave that not always the first
available print will be used to authenticate when the device not supports
identification, rather than it randomly picks one out of the available
prints.

Ciao Thilo
