The fingerprint reader (AES2810) board is $33.87 before shipping 
charges.  Be aware that if you refresh the cart page, it may add a 
second one to your cart.

It looks like the board takes 3.3 volts, and the pin order is +3v, D-, 
D+, GND, but I'm not sure whether that's from left-to-right or vice versa.

There is a generic Windows 7 driver for the device that might be simpler 
than HP's driver.
