I just got a new Lenovo think pad t400 with device:
idVendor 0x147e Upek
idProduct 0x2016 Biometric Touchchip/Touchstrip Fingerprint Sensor
Im working over rhel6 Kernel 2.6.32-71.7.1, and this is the packages installed:
libfprint-devel-0.1.0-19.pre2.el6.x86_64
libfprint-0.1.0-19.pre2.el6.x86_64
libusb-devel-0.1.12-23.el6.x86_64
libusb1-1.0.3-1.el6.x86_64
and installed from source pam_frpint-0.2 and fprint_demo-0.4, but whenever i
try to enroll my fingerprint i got the message: Enroll failed with error -22
but have not found anything in the web related to error - 22.
fprint project demo shows in the status bar:
Status: Device ready for use.
Driver: upeksonly
Imaging device.
Im only able to open the device as active as root. in both demo and
pam_fprint_enroll. Any help is very much appreciated
