See the "law" from Andrea Carr-Evans.  I believe the word "private" is in
the law.  Many students, including public school students don't want to be
caught anywhere near a school bus.  Which begs the question - why do we
provide extensive student parking lots at the high schools when we pay taxes
for the buses to provide them with transportation?  Come over to Lowther
Road (off Central St.) at 2:00 when the High School gets out.  You can count
the students on two hands that are aboard those huge 44 seat buses.  This is
more a taxi service.  I say lets get rid of busing for the high school
level!!  They (the students) don't want it.  So why should we pay for it.
