Peggy has placed an important challenge before us. How can we each respond?
There are many ways to contribute to your community. Not all of us are able
to donate dollars, but we each have skills which can provide services to our
fellow residents.

I suspect that many of our town employees work significantly more hours than
are expected of them. And some (the above-mentioned exception included) do
volunteer work in their off-hours and in the years before (and after) they
became town employees.
