EVERYBODY CELEBRATES THE CHINESE NEW YEAR!

Everyone is invited to a grand celebration of the Chinese New Year from 1 to 
5 PM on Sunday, February 23, 2003 at the Memorial Building (Nevins Hall), 150 
Concord Street, Framingham.  The gala event with lavish entertainment and 
delicious Chinese food is sponsored by the Century Chinese Language School to 
introduce all our citizens to the extraordinary culture, customs, and flavors 
of China. 

Dancing and singing by the students and a variety of performances by their 
talented parents in thanks to the community and to celebrate the new "Year of 
the Goat" will begin at 1 PM and continue until 3:30 PM.  Chinese food 
catered by local Chinese restaurants will be served buffet style from 3:30 to 
4:30 PM.

Century Chinese Language School serves more than one hundred and seventy 
students at fourteen levels.  Its thirty teachers (all volunteers) teach the 
Chinese language and supervise many activities, from computers, chess, and 
chinese dance to ping-pong, art, and tai chi. This event also celebrates the 
schoolbs recent move to new quarters at Massachusetts Bay Community College, 
19 Flagg Street, Framingham, MA 01702 where classes will be held every Sunday 
afternoon from 1 to 5 PM.

Tickets for the Chinese Dinner will be available at $10 for Adults, $7 for 
Seniors, and $5 for Children under 12.  For further information contact:
