To Whom It May Concern:
My e-mail sent yesterday in response to Deanie West's e-mail (incorrectly titled "Re:
Update on the Great Wall of Framingham" but really addressing the continuing problem
of water runoff from Doeskin II.)
Today we have a virtual river in our backyard, unlike anything we have had since we
have lived in our home at 46 Carter Drive. My wife has taken pictures, which will be
available tomorrow.
This river is absolutely unlike ANYTHING we have experienced, in spite of the fact it
is a winter with a lot of snow and it is raining hard. We have had such events in the
past prior to the filling and severe re-grading of Lot 7 of Doeskin II.
Is anybody interested in seeing the pictures? Is it possible to have anything done to
alleviate the situation? Please, please, please don't tell me: "Well, you are
downhill...what do you expect." We have been "downhill" since we have lived in the
house and don't agree that those who own the uphill area can change the topography to
affect those downhill for their own benefit while reducing my property value, safety
and use of my land.
Sincerely,
Gerald Harting
