i talked with Bernie Plante at Mass Highways Thursday.  He acknowledged that they have 
responsibility for the project on route 9 and  the sidewalk will be cleared by next 
week.

please let karen and me know if this is not cleared up.

Dear Framingham Residents,
     As many of you have undoubtedly noticed MASS Highway has
closed the sidewalk on the westbound side of Worcester Road, Route 9,
between Temple Street and the Turnpike due to construction on a
bridge over the reservoir. Note that there is no sidewalk on the
eastbound side of the highway.
     Have any of you as pedestrians been inconvenienced or
endangered by this situation? Have you witnessed any pedestrians
or wheelchairs being forced to detour into the roadway? If so
please let FBPAC know the circumstances by replying from the link
below.
