According to the contract signed between the Doeskin2 developer and the
Town, the outstanding work is required to be completed by the end of
business today so that it can be inspected by the Building Department
tomorrow.

As far as I know, the only outstanding work is an architectural
(decorative) wall, four feet high, which gets placed in front of the
structural wall.

As we all know from earlier in the week, the developer had announced that
he was going to simply remove the entire structural Wall. He was properly
informed by different Departments that Very Bad Things would happen if he
tried.

Today, he informed the Town that he would construct the architectural wall
before his appearance on Tuesday morning at the Court House.

It's a true testament to his abilities that he is able to take even this
deadline and attempt to push its limits. Our Town Counsel's options are
not reduced.
