TW-889 Technical Writer - Staff - Morgan Hill , CA (Local Candidates Only)
Salary: BOE with quarterly bonus
A leading developer of optical and wireless telecom equipment needs a
junior to intermediate technical writer to:
o. Plan, write and edits operational, instructional, maintenance or test
procedures for paper, multimedia or web-based publication.
o. Research and translate technical information into manuals and/or
web-based documents for non-technical and technical users.
o. Recommend formats responsive to technical and customer requirements.
o. Produce products that conform to the company documentation and quality
assurance standards.
Requirements:
o. 2 years experience documenting the use and troubleshooting of
electronic devices such as communication equipment, test equipment, etc.
(Required)
o. Experience with Adobe FrameMaker and WebWorks Publisher (Required)
o. AA/AS degree in EE, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
(Required)
o. Experience with Corel Ventura Publisher, Corel Draw, Microsoft Office
and Adobe Illustrator a plus
o. Experience with RF or microwave technology a plus
o. Previous experience working as an electronics technician a major plus.
