If new fonts were added or fonts reinstalled, it could be that the
source for the files was a remote machine and the option to copy the
font files to the local system was not checked. I'm not sure how to
verify that, but hopefully the IT people would know what they did.
I imagine it could be determined by looking in the \windows\fonts folder.
Fonts installed without checking the "Copy fonts to Fonts Folder" checkbox
would have shortcut icons (i.e. with the little arrow in the corner),
instead of regular font icons.
