Unfortunately, it seems that the answer is "no".

Starting with Acrobat/Reader 6, collapsed parent bookmarks are not displayed differently to indicate that one of their subordinate bookmarks corresponds to the currently-viewed page.

And even if all bookmarks levels are expanded (not recommended in general), Acrobat does not automatically scroll the bookmark pane to match the corresponding page location (as it does with the thumbnails pane).
