Thanks, your e-mail sparked my ever getting older memory, 
this is what I now recall doing (7 years, ago). 
I had created an extensive   CustomUI   file, and I had lots of 
customization's. 
Like arrow key navigation in tables, 
and Font size & style drop-downs akin to MSWord, etc.

Read the Online Manual, Customizing Frame Products (in  your FM install 
directory). I think what you need to do is add some lines to a 
customui.cfg file,

<Modify MoveIPToPreviousCell       <KeySequence /Left >>
<Modify MoveIPToNextCell           <KeySequence /Right >>
<Modify MoveIPToCellAbove          <KeySequence /Up >>
<Modify MoveIPToCellBelow          <KeySequence /Down >>
