No, but you can redefine one of the system variables. For instance, if you don't need the Current Date (Short) variable, select it in the Variable dialog and click Edit Definition. In the Edit System Variable dialog, replace the existing definition with <$year>. You can redefine any system variable, using the items in the Building Blocks list. HTH! Richard ------ Richard G.
