What great responses! The easiest solution thus far is to use Print with Adobe PDF as the printer and change the color option to black and white (spot color as black and white doesn't seem to do anything).
I still have a slight color differential between my regular text and hypertext (the hypertext shows up as, oh, maybe 90% gray). I started messing about with the Framemaker color views, but didn't get very far. Does anyone actually understand how they work? Thank you all.
