Hi Framers,

I've got an image on a transparent background in various formats (Photoshop
EPS, PNG, ...). I import this image in Frame 7.2, where I place it on a
colored background (a rectangle with a fill color drawn in Frame). Is there
a way to maintain the transparency when saving this file as PDF?

I know that, if you do this with line art, the bounding box always gets a
white background in the FrameMaker preview. However, with line art, you can
simply click the graphic and set the fill pattern to none. The bounding box
will then be transparent in the PDF. But this does not seem to work with
images, does it?

The only workaround I can come up with now, is to place the image on the
colored background in Photoshop or Illustrator.

Kind regards.
