Hi Robin/Will (?) I use autonumbering in Word all the time and have very few problems with it. I've repaired more bolloxed autonumbering jobs than I can remember.
Autonumbering in Word is fairly easy, once one knows how to do it. I'd be happy to help anyone who needs help with autonumbering.
