Deb, I'm planning to use Scribus to put together a project portfolio to post on my website and have in PDF form. I played with it quite a bit while writing "openSUSE Linux Unleashed." It is much more stable than it was a couple years ago, and should work quite well for brochures and such. It doesn't have the long-document (book-type) features of FrameMaker, but is good for the PageMaker/InDesign tasks.

Does anyone who has experience with a free open source DTP program at www.scribus.net <BLOCKED::http://www.scribus.net> care to comment on it? For example, is anyone at your company using it for brochures or collateral? _______________________________________________ You are currently subscribed to Framers as [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send list messages to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] or visit http://lists.frameusers.com/mailman/options/framers/archive%40mail-archive.com Send administrative questions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Visit http://www.frameusers.com/ for more resources and info.
