Well, IT is the obvious place to start because they'd be the people
who changed things.
Theoretically, they should have set a restore point as part of the process.
And... you don't mention your configuration -- how much RAM you have
and how much free local disk space for temp files...
One thing you may want to try on your own.... 7.0 was much less
stable than either of the point releases in the 7.x series, and is
also less so than 8. Given the age of your FM application, I'd be
tempted to download the current free eval version and see what happens
with that.
