All,
Jessica Nealon made this post in 2006: "When I use Save As to PDF my books, whole chunks of text disappear in the PDF file. It appears to be totally random. For instance, one table will have several blank rows blank followed by competed rows." http://lists.frameusers.com/pipermail/framers/2006-October/004916.html I am also using Frame 7.2, and I wonder if anyone else knows about this problem and about any bugfixes. My experience is that FrameMaker apparently puts the text in table cells behind the table when saving as a PDF. When the table has shading, this makes the text disappear entirely. Printing straight to the printer works fine. I have not found anything helpful on the Internet in general, which strikes me as strange. Also, I'm sure this is unrelated to the previous problem, but it does exacerbate the situation: Printing to my Acrobat PDF "printer" fails for an unspecified reason and printing to a PostScript file produces this cryptic error, which means I have absolutely no way of making a pdf out of my document.
