Forgot to mention:  It seems that by default, Windoze hides the 
underlined letters until you press Alt.  It's much easier to learn the 
shortcuts if the underscores are always visible.  The setting (in XP) is 
buried as the last item in the Effects dialog box available from the 
Appearance tab of Desktop properties.  (Right-click on a blank area of 
desktop to begin.)
