I've tried deleting the page from the Special menu, but it doesn't stay. I have tried various settings in Format > Page Layout > Pagination, but when I open it again the Before Saving & Printing setting reverts to "Make Page Count Odd."
Look at the pagination settings for the next file in the book. If the first file ends, say, on a left page, but the next file is set up to start on a left page, then FM adds an extra, blank, right page automatically to make that happen.
