Contract: 6-8 months
Location: Milpitas, CA
MUST be on-site: No Telecommuting
Technical Writer will create Product Manufacturing Procedures in U.S. English
for semiconductor wafer metrology wafer process control systems.
Requirements:
* Adheres to company Style Guide
* Uses provided Frame Maker v8.0 Templates
* Obeys clean room protocol when working in clean room
* Interviews engineers, Subject Matter Experts, and other technical personnel
both on location and in international offices
* Keeps track of tasks to ensure that they are in line with the project plan
* Familiarity with statutory/legal (such as Semi and CE) information that
should be included in the documentation
Required technical experience:
* Three years plus of relevant technical writing experience.
* Knowledge of semiconductors, semiconductor measurement tools and the
semiconductor industry is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated experience (with writing samples/portfolio) of writing various
Technical procedures
* In-depth knowledge of the following software applications:
- Adobe Frame Maker v8.0
- Adobe Acrobat v8.0
- Adobe Photo Shop or Paint Shop Pro
- Microsoft Office Suite
