If your client just wants to self-publish a booklet-- say by folding letter
size pages into 5.5" x 8.5" pages-- many (most?) desktop print drivers have
"booklet printing" options that will take care of it for them. They'll have
to fold and staple the sheets on their own, though. You can find saddle
staplers for around $35.
