Not quite right. Support for SP2 recently ended. But XP with SP3 will be supported until April 2014. http://blogs.pcmag.com/securitywatch/2009/07/one_year_from_today_microsoft.php Basically, this means if you don't install SP3 and have an issue, they'll tell you to install SP3 and get back to them if you still have the issue. :-) Richard G.
