Oh, I just found it in Acrobat 9. To reduce your PDF file size after
using "Create Named Destinations for All Elements and Paragraphs", do
this:
1. Choose Advanced > PDF Optimizer
2. Deselect everything except Clean up
3. On the Clean Up Settings panel, deselect everything except "Discard
unreferenced named destinations", and hit OK.

Note: the online help where I found this says "Because this option does
not check for links from other PDF files or websites, it does not fit in
some workflows." I think TimeSavers gets around this problem.

Good luck!

Subject: Figure cross references not working in PDF

I have both Figure (Figure 5-3) and Heading and Page (see ABC on page
43) cross references in my book. The Heading and Page links work fine
throughout the PDF but the Figure references don't work at all. I've
tried creating the PDF by using both Save As to PDF and printing the
book to PDF - both with the same result.

My "Figure Title" paratag is included on the Tags tab. Does anyone have
a suggestion?

Frame 7.2, Adobe Reader 7, and Acrobat 9

Thanks in advance.

David M
