I would just like to second what Alison and Nadine said about the FM9 bug being
related to setting tabs and add this: I have discovered that you can set tabs
on the ruler without killing the paragraph designer IF the paragraph designer
is
closed/collapsed when you do it. I set/move tabs a lot, so I've gotten into
the
habit of making sure all my panels are shut before I touch the ruler. A minor
pain, but it keeps me from restarting FM all day. And I've never had the
paragraph designer freeze when I take that extra step. Hope that's a help to
someone!
