Dan,

Open the Interface Preferences dialog. In the General group there is a Tool Tips dropdown. Select ‘Hidden’.

Subject: Any way to disable hover bubbles?

Framemaker 10, Windows 7 64-bit.

Is there any way to disable those annoying hover bubbles that appear any time your mouse crosses a control or input field? They obscure what is underneath them, and worse, depending on what you’re doing or what the bubbles are displayed over, they won’t go away for several seconds even after the mouse is moved.

Frame needs to stop helping me to death… it’s becoming more and more a Microsoft product with every passing day…
