This is one of FrameMaker's biggest annoyances, that there is no sorting
order to the list of paragraphs when inserting a cross-reference.
Meaning if you select "Heading 1," all the Heading 1's are listed, but
they are not in alphabetical order and they are not in the order that
they appear in the document. For some reason they seem partially in
order, but not completely.
It would make things much faster if you had the option to sort
alphabetically or by the order in the document.

I am creating links to a reference that contains about 600 unsorted
heading 1s (my potential link targets). In FrameMaker, I have to
scroll through the para list of unsorted heading 1s for each link I
want to create. I have many links to create and it is difficult to
scroll through the para list for each link. Any ideas on how to do
this more effectively? Can I use a search to find the link target?
