I've taken a look at this and it was in fact like this for all FM versions. Was a fairly simple fix and will be available in the upcoming update (1.1.16). If anyone would like an early version of this update, please contact me off list.

While I appreciate Yves' rationalization about why this isn't a bug .. it sure sounds like one to me. :-)

I'll bet that this works fine in FM8 but with the UI change in FM9 the dialog never gets dismissed any more and that may have been what keyed FMx to update the href (and height/width). I'll have to do some testing, but will likely find that this should work as Roger expects.

Cheers and Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Roger

I have just tested this. Indeed, when you import a new image into an existing anchored frame, the href attribute is not updated to the new image path and name, in your example image2.png. However, I don't think this is a bug because you are using a FrameMaker feature (File > Import > File instead of an XML function (insert <image>). So, the simple workaround would be to delete the <image> element and then insert a new one.

My images are not distorted because I'm not using the width and height attributes, but @otherprops="fmdpi" instead.

Cheers
