I am in the same situation as Steve. In fact I have an old eMac I run it
on now just for that purpose. It runs well under Classic on OS 10.4.

As for numbers of seats, I was told anecdotally a number of years back by an
Adobe employee that it was the volume license users such as Boeing that kept
the product going.
