If there are any Mac/Parallels users out there who may be faced with this situation, one solution is to use Apple's Automator. An application (app) with just two actions -- get folder contents, set application for files -- does the trick. Drag the actions into Automator's composition window. Select the application you want in the pull-down menu (in my case, Frame 11); Windows apps are (most likely) located in your User file ~/Applications(Parallels)/[your Windows version] Applications/[app name].app. Save the app.
Simply drop the folder with the chosen Frame files onto the app's icon and in seconds the files are all converted. You can check the get-info box to confirm the files now have the v11 Frame as their default. They will now open in Frame 11 within the Windows virtual machine from a double-click on the Mac side. Cheers, --Karen
