E-Book Formats http://techwhirl.com/e-book-formats/ The articles haven't dated too much since I wrote them. Most people going to Kindle format will start by building the book in EPUB, then converting to Amazon's format. While the E-Ink based Kindles will display PDF files, I've never found viewing a PDF on them a very satisfactory experience. You really need a tablet for PDFs.
