The lack of a checkmark in the Captivate / Windows 8 cell on that page *should* mean that the *current* version, Captivate 8, is not supported, but in fact Windows 8 has been supported since Captivate 7, so obviously Adobe is not doing a great job of keeping that table up to date.
The requirements for Captivate 6, which was included in TCS4, are Windows XP SP3 or 7 SP1. Running Captivate in compatibility mode seems likely to cause problems since the application is so tightly integrated with the Windows UI. To find requirements for discontinued Adobe products, use a Google search such as: adobe "captivate 6" "system requirements" On Fri, Sep 12, 2014 at 10:16 AM, Jeff Troeber <j...@nlss.com> wrote: > I had checked the Adobe compatibility page > (http://www.adobe.com/support/OScompatibility.html), but it did not say if > Captivate was supported, or list the versions of the products that were > supported.
