Hi Dave, this is a 'well known' FrameMaker issue. It has to do with your image format (jpg?) and image color settings. We had similar issues with sRGB jpg images. Somehow FM has trouble translating the color information to screen presentation.
You, and others experiencing the same, should report it to the FrameMaker development team (in cc) so they can do something about it for a next release.
