I can see some benefit in being able to check in and check out files directly from Frame and also update dependent files. With our current system (which is very old) everything is manual. SVN, however, may be an option. I believe that with a small number of users, free on-line versions of Git hosted solutions are perhaps the best way to go. For example, check out Github (www.github.com<http://www.github.com>) and BitBucket (www.bitbucket.org<http://www.bitbucket.org>) - BitBucket is free for up to 5 users with unlimited repositories (no file limits).
