There is a known problem with FM6.0 or earlier used on Windows, causing crashes related to missing graphics. A specific patch for FM6.0 is available for download from adobe.com: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=1420 There is a FM5.5.6 patch for this problem, offered by Systec. See http://www.systec-gmbh.com/en/sites/downloads_epub.htm -- "Patches and plug-ins", TOOLBOX plug-in for Adobe FrameMaker 5.5.6 under Windows XP (free download). I'm not sure whether the patch applies to FM+SGML 5.5.6 as well.
