Mid- Level to Senior Technical writer Unica Corp. Waltham, MA Experienced Content Developer/Technical Writer to work with various project teams to develop and deliver documentation for an Enterprise Marketing Management suite of products. - Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Developing documentation plans, outlines, and schedules. * Performing research and task analysis to better understand target audiences and design required content. * Ability to effectively collaborate with subject matter experts, technical staff, and project teams incorporate essential user documentation into final product. * Ability to work both independently and in a team environment while meeting project deadlines. * Ability to develop clear, precise, and well-organized technical documentation for the various audiences that use our product suite * Ability to write highly technical original documentation, including SDKs, APIs, system integration guides, white papers, and technical marketing materials, frequently starting from scratch. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, contributing at many levels. - Preferred Qualifications: * Degree in Technical Writing, English, Journalism, or Computer Science and demonstrated 3+ years experience developing technical content. * Experience writing technical documentation for complex application software * Experience with structured authoring and developing online content * Experience with XML authoring, DITA, and content management a plus * Experience with complex relational databases a plus
