Oh, this last bit is a dirty trick! You write

message URL http://www.checkpoint.com target="_blank

without a trailing quote and that may give you

<a href="http://www.checkpoint.com target="_blank">

in your HTML. Dirty, dirty!

Better: You modify the Webworks Style which is handling the  
hyperlinks (Marker Style "GotoLinkOpen") to detect that you are  
creating an 'external' link (check for "http://"; in the marker text)  
and if that is the case add the target attribute.
