Shlomo, Thanks to you and others, that is exactly what was the case. I guess I got so used to the F2 default font that I thought it was an original feature of FM... I still have the Toolbar files for FM7 and will install them again. Ragnar Hanas

Quite likely, F2 was assigned by ToolbarPlus/Express Customization -- http://www.microtype.com/ToolbarPlus.html -- along with many other custom assignments. Without the customization, you may use F8 immediately followed by Enter, as Default Pgf Font is always the first character format (or the escape sequence shortcut).
