I don't have FM8, but my guess is that the problem is in FM, not Acrobat. You probably haven't set up FM to generate Acrobat data (in the Print dialog in earlier versions) or done the PDF setup. (I don't know if, in FM8, you still need to create named destinations for all paragraphs to avoid broken links.) The Acrobat links from URLs function is totally unrelated. It finds strings in the PDF that look like URLs (e.g., "http://blahblah, mailto:blahblah) and makes hyperlinks out of them. It can't do anything with FM xrefs or text that you intend to be a link, but isn't an actual URL. Personally, I think the links from URLs function is a bad idea, and I have it turned off. I want to decide -- in FM, by inserting a hyperlink -- where links are created, not leave it up to Acrobat. HTH! Richard ------ Richard G.
