Thanks William for the response. I checked all text frames Pg 1= Title, Pg2 = Disclaimer, Page 3 = Table of Contents, none having the Postscript Code checked.
Other ideas? Thanks again Pete Rourke Chandler, AZ -----Original Message----- From: William Abernathy [mailto:will...@inch.com] Sent: Monday, February 04, 2008 5:04 PM To: pete at rourke.org Subject: Re: System rebuild - can not print book I've seen that type of error before. One of your text frames (on page 2 or 3) is marked as PostScript code in its frame properties. You need to toggle this option off. Select the frame, right-click (or CTRL-click) the frame and select Object Properties. Then look for the little "PostScript Code" check box on the right side of the pop-up. Deselect it. Your problem should go away. Best of luck. --William Pete Rourke wrote: > Ok, so I'm thinking I am a total stooge. > > > > I have FM8 XP Pro on Desktop and primary = laptop. > > I did a flush and fill on laptop to clear out the cobwebs. > > > > I replaced FM8 and Adobe PDF printer, and the entire FM book directory, all > fonts and images. > >>From the freshly rebuilt laptop, FM comes up fine with book, all print to > PDF settings are identical to functioning desktop, but when I try to > generate PDF, I get: > > %%[ ProductName: Distiller ]%% > > %%[Page: 1]%% > > %%[Page: 2]%% > > %%[ Error: undefined; OffendingCommand: pdfmark; ErrorInfo: Rect ]%% > > > > I can reach across the network and open and print the same book from the > desktop, so I'm thinking maker.ini files or something. > > > > I am not a code person or script writer, and I'm NCAA (No Clue At All) > > > > Did I miss something on the re-install??? > > > > TIA > > > > Ducking for cover > > > > Pete Rourke > Chandler, AZ > > _______________________________________________ > > > You are currently subscribed to Framers as william at inch.com. > > Send list messages to framers at lists.frameusers.com. > > To unsubscribe send a blank email to > framers-unsubscribe at lists.frameusers.com > or visit http://lists.frameusers.com/mailman/options/framers/william%40inch.com > > Send administrative questions to listadmin at frameusers.com.
