Hi John,

there is indeed a difference in behaviour between FM 7 and FM 8. The
behaviour you are describing occurs if the paragraphs don't contain any
text (yet). So:

1.) Put some text in the paragraph below the one which you are going to
delete. Delete the above paragraph. The next paragraph will keep its tag.

2.) Put some text in the paragraph before you press Enter. The next
paragraph will get the tag which is in the Next Pgf Tag of the Paragraph
Designer.

I also preferred the behaviour of FM 7. It allowed me to create a
"blank" structure very quickly:

   1. Apply the paratag "topictitle" to a blank paragraph.
   2. Press ENTER to get a blank paragraph tagged "sectiontitle".
   3. Press ENTER to get a paragraph tagged "body".
   4. Write my body text.
   5. Fill in the sectiontitle and topictitle, depending on what I have
      written in the body text.

I doubt whether Adobe will consider this a bug and will therefore
release a patch for it.

Kind regards
