Sure. 1) Open the Custom Ruling and Shading dialog (Table > Custom Ruling and Shading). 2) Click the Edit Ruling Style button. 3) In the Edit Ruling Style dialog, create a new style by changing the name (to, say, Medium-Thin), setting the Width to what you want (say, 1.5 pt), and clicking Set. 4) In the Table Designer, the list of Separators now includes your new Medium-Thin style.
