Hi Susan, I am running Frame 7.1 on Windows 7, with no problems, on a 64-bit system.
I am not running it in XP mode In fact, as I found out after setting up my system, my particular computer can't use XP mode...which requires some special flavor of processor/hardware....but I have had very few problems running any existing software, so far. The installer tucked the files into the Program Files (x86) folder, where most of my current software resides. (Had to upgrade one piece of software that was about 7 years old, to latest version. And don't get me started on how difficult it is to thoroughly extinguish the trial version of MS Office 2007!...Otherwise, transition has been pretty smooth.) Hi, Framers. Before I plunk down hard-earned cash on an FM upgrade I don't particularly want, I thought I'd ask if anyone is running FM 7.2 in XP mode on Windows 7 and if so, how well it's working. Any gotchas that might influence my decision? My new PC is Win7 64-bit and although I don't plan to do so often, I'm worried about being able to run FM 7.2 on it. Thanks, and happy winter holidays of your choice to all. ...Susan "When you find a big kettle of crazy, it's best not to stir it."
